“How Long” by Ace was written about one of the band members who was leaving for another group. The song was a success and achieved top charts in the UK and US. It reached #3 in the Billboard Hot 100 and Top 20 in the UK Singles chart. Keyboard/vocalist, Paul Carrack, went solo and gained success later in his career. He’s been in other such popular bands, including Roxy Music, Mike + The Mechanics and Squeeze.
