Fact or A Load: Was Tim Tebow was Born in the Philippines?

This is our version of True or Not True.  Let’s see how you do…

#1.)  Tim Tebow was born in the Philippines, where his parents were serving as Christian missionaries.

#2.)  Tebow is an only child.

#3.)  While pregnant with him, Tim’s mother suffered a life-threatening amoebic infection and went into a coma.

#4.)  In college, Tebow requested that he not be named to “Playboy” magazine’s All-American team.

#5.)  In fifth grade, Tebow was suspended from school for leading a group of students in kneeling in the cafeteria to pray before lunch.

#6.)  During high school, Tim and his mother moved out of the family house and got an apartment, so he could play quarterback for a different school.

#7.)  Tebow thinks video games are a bad influence on kids, and asked not to be put in them.  As a compromise, all games change his number and have him throw with the wrong hand.

#8.)  During high school, Tebow played a game with a broken fibula.

Fact:  He was born in Makati City.

Fact:  Doctors expected Tim to be stillborn.

Fact:  He made the request in 2008, because it conflicted with his Christian beliefs.

#5.)  In fifth grade, Tebow was suspended from school for leading a group of students in kneeling in the cafeteria to pray before lunch.

Fact:  The small school in his district didn’t pass the ball much, so he moved to a more passer-friendly district.

A LoadJapan televised an anime movie “Castle in the Sky” in December, which averaged 25,088 Tweet per second.  Tim averaged 9,420 per second.
