Something’s not right here. “Heroes: The Musical” is ready to debut next March in London. It will tell the story of Major Tom, the Starman, the Diamond Dogs and a “young dude” named David. Gee, sure sounds like a [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]David Bowie[/lastfm] musical, right?
[photogallerylink id=64733 align=left]Well, that WAS the plan. They even told the world that David Bowie granted permission to use his music. There’s just one small problem: IT’S NOT TRUE! There are NO plans to license these tunes.
Is it illegal for the audience to whistle or hum Bowie songs without having to pay royalty fees? That MAY be the only solution, short of trashing the entire project!
