Remember our heroes, thank our Military, and show our American Pride by participating in W. Steven Martin’s 10th Anniversary Patriot Ride in honor of the victims of the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the planes that were attacked on September 11th, 2001. Over the past decade, thousands of our military men  and women have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend America’s freedom. Join the ride to show your support and pride in our country!

The 9/11 Patriot Ride will start in Phoenix at the Ashley HomeStore Pavilion, 83rd Avenue and Encanto, and will stage in the northeast parking lot. The parade departs at 10:28 a.m., the time WTC-Tower 2 fell in New York City. This year’s ride theme, HONOR OUR HEROES, recognizes our country’s progress since 9/11/01. The ride will comprise three groups: (1) Our Military, current and retired; (2) Fire and Police, current and retired; and (3) Civilians riding in remembrance of all the 9/11 victims.

Motorcycle parade route: Bikes will enter the I-10 freeway from 79th Avenue in Phoenix and head eastbound on I-10 in the HOV lane for about 14 miles to the 202 freeway exit in Mesa. The ride will exit the 202 Red Mountain Freeway and head south on Dobson into Mesa Riverview. An avenue of American flags and all 50 state flags will welcome the riders at they proceed down the Riverview Avenue of Heroes. At the end of the ride, riders and the public will gather for a short program.

A donation of $20 per bike is requested. Net proceeds will benefit the 911 Toy Drive/Police Toy Drive, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which provides gifts for Arizona children to be delivered by public safety officers year round.

A portion of the proceeds from the 10th Anniversary 9/11 Badges will benefit the FDNY 9/11 Memorial Foundation.

Our special thanks to the Arizona Department of Public Safety – Highway Patrol Motors, ADOT, Phoenix Police Department, and the Mesa Police and Fire Departments for their support.
