Rick is coming to town this fall, and I’ll be playing one of his songs as a Turntable Tuesday tune.  I’m not speaking out of line when I mention his those two aspects of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rick Springfield[/lastfm].  He was very candid about both in his book.  And as he says, ii wasn’t an attempted suicide, he was serious about it.  Thank God the rope snapped.  As for his depression, he still deals with it
