on stage 2010 385x280 Kenny Loggins Was The Toughest Interview Of My Career

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kenny Loggins[/lastfm] is at Wild Horse Pass Casino tonight for an 8pm show.  Not only will he be singing solo hits like Footloose, I’m Alright, and Danger Zone, he’ll dip into the [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Loggins and Messina[/lastfm] catalog for Your Mama Don’t Dance, Danny’s Song, and House at Pooh Corner.  In addition, he take the stage as part of his opening act [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Blue Sky Riders[/lastfm].  did you know he was a member of The Electric prunes at one time? you’ll hear him talk about that too. When I caught u with him on the road for a phone conversation, it turned out to be the toughest interview I’ve ever had.  Here’s the interview, and why it was so tough.

Kenny was on the road and was talking on his cel phone, which kept dropping the call, so we had to call each other back a hal dozen times over the course of almost an hour.  I’ve edited it down to the parts tha didn’t cut out, but I did leave one of the drops in so you’ll get a feel for what happened.  And once, it went directly to his answering message – you’ll hear that too.  Again, it WASN’T Kenny’s fault, he’s a class act. Take a listen.
