az Brock Osweiler to start for ASU tomorrow night

He has paid his dues for the last two years. Now it’s his turn!
Back in 2009 Brock Osweiler was the number seven quarterback. In 2009 Danny Sullivan took over the starting position when senior Rudy Carpenter graduated. Last year Steven Threet won the starting quarterback position. Osweiler got to play in twelve games throughout his career as a Sun Devil in place of the injured Danny Sullivan in 2009 and again while Steven Threet recuperated from injuries. During those twelve games Osweiler completed 52% of his passes. Last year he took over for an injured Threet and threw for 380 yards and four touchdowns against UCLA. The following week his performance wasn’t as good but still made enough out of plays to beat rival Arizona in double overtime. Osweiler says “Since I was five years old I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I really studied the game of football. I’ve been a guy that’s watched every football game on Saturdays and Sundays. I’ve watched what those other quarterbacks did. I’ve watched what they said to the media and just tried to learn from as many situations as possible.” Tomorrow, as a junior, Osweiler will make his first start at Sun Devil Stadium and just his third overall. The ASU Sun Devils take on UC Davis at 7pm. Good luck Brock and GO SUN DEVILS!
