With NFL owners settling and now the Players, WE’VE GOT GAME! Coach Whisenhunt held a press conference Tuesday at 11am.
Players started trickling in to the Cardinals training facility early this morning at 7. Some players using non-media access to avoid interviews. Quarterbacks Rich Bartel and John Skelton were two of the first players to show up. Players are scheduled for physicals on Wednesday which was originally the first day scheduled for training camp in Flagstaff.Under the new 10 year Collective Bargaining agreement players can report to club facilities on Saturday and the league year will open Tomorrow Wednesday July 27th.The rosters will expand to 90 and free agency can start. Trades are also allowed on Wednesday as well. This is putting pressure on negotiations as Cardinals are interested in a trade for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb. All I know is There will be practice in Flagstaff on Saturday, only three days later than originally scheduled, so I think It’s gonna be a great year! Now I can buy my regular season tickets, not just to watch the players but, to watch my daughter cheer as an Arizona Cardinals Cheerleader for her third season…THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKIN ABOUT!
