[photogallerylink id=61147 align=left] Breaking: Sad news coming from London this morning. [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Amy Winehouse[/lastfm] has been found dead in her London apartment at the age of 27.
London’s Sky News & The Daily Mirror first ran with the story. Followed by Reuters and The Huffington Post.
At this time, the cause of death is “unexplained” but does not look suspicious. The Huffington Post is reporting that it looks to be an apparent drug overdose.
TMZ has posted a press release from the Metropolitan Police, that says, “Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased.
On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained.“
