The Happy Together Tour hits Wild Horse Pass Casino on Wednesday, August 10th.  We’ll get to see and hear [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Turtles[/lastfm] featuring [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Flo & Eddie[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Association[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Grass Roots[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Mark Lindsay[/lastfm] and the [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Buckinghams[/lastfm].  But, according to Howard Kaylan of The Turtles, you WON’T need a seat. Intriguing! I wonder what that means?
Howard says “you’ve got to stand up!  I defy you to sit in your seats and not tap your foot to the point where you’ve got to get up and sing along with every single act on this show.”

The tour kicks off tonight in Long Island.  Once it ends in late August, Howard will get back to work on his autobiography — which he’s writing with noted rock journalist Jeff Tamarkin. One of rock’s best storytellers, Kaylan’s biggest challenge is paring the more than 400 pages he’s already completed down to 280 or so.
