Oliver is a sweet old dog whose owner left him in a kennel at the Arizona Humane Society in order to travel…and never came back. 😦
Like all Beagles, Oliver was once a boundless pup with paws made of springs and an unimaginable amount of energy, but over the years his muzzle has become distinguished with gray and everything in his life has begun to slow down and he is looking for someone who enjoys a relaxing lifestyle. If there is one thing that Oliver has learned over the years it is how to be a perfect gentleman, and he is sure to be an exceptional well-mannered family pet. He is mellow and easygoing and he is more than happy to watch his owner cook while he sprawls out on the cool kitchen floor or perhaps join them in the living room to watch television while he snuggles on his very own dog bed. He likes sleeping in on the weekends, chewing on bones, walks at sun set and relaxing on the porch with the family on a summer night.
In addition to being house, leash and crate trained, Oliver has mastered the “sit,” “down,” “come” and “stay” commands and performs them for his owner without hesitation. He is great with kids as well as dogs but a family meet and greet is always required.
He is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Sunnyslope facility located at 9226 North 13th Avenue in Phoenix. His adoption fee is $35 since he is a Prime Time dog. This fee includes his neuter surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash, an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam.
