Meet Tashie, 94.5 KOOL FM Dog of The Week.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Tashie’s previous owner was forced to move out of state and on their first stop on their way out of town was the Arizona Humane Society where they regrettably had to drop off their gorgeous Boxer. Now, waiting alone in a kennel at the shelter, this 4-year-old is up off the mat and waits for the next round- a new home with a forever family.
Like most Boxers, Tashie is carefree, spirited, enthusiastic and constantly wiggling- which gives her away for the softie she really is. She shares sloppy kisses freely with anyone in kissing range and if the opportunity arises she won’t hesitate to join you on the couch for a good movie.
Rowdy and rambunctious, Tashie has yet to appreciate the value of nap time and instead she’d much rather bounce around the yard with a rope toy swinging from her mouth, go for a fast-paced walk, hike a mountain or go to the dog park. When she finally reaches the point of exhaustion, she will sprawl out in the middle of the kitchen floor in effort to gain attention (or perhaps a belly rub) when her owner passes by.
She is leash and house trained and this clever canine has a firm grip on all of the basic commands. She is good with other dogs that are as energetic as she is but she hasn’t been around cats. She may be too boisterous for toddlers and she’d do best in a home with older children.
She is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Sunnyslope Facility located at 9226 North 13th Avenue in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is just $110. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar with an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam.
