Goodbye, Michael Scott
I will admit, I was late to “The Office” party. I tried watching the first season, but just didn’t find it funny. Thankfully, a friend convinced me to give it another shot a couple years later. From that point forward, I’ve been hooked! Tonight’s episode will be huge. It’s Michael Scott‘s last day :-( Without Steve Carell, I’m not sure that show will last very long. The entire cast is very funny. But, they need a LEADER. That isn’t going to be Will Ferrell. It probably won’t be any of the FIVE gi-normous guest stars on the season finale, either.

“The Office” season finale is getting yet another dose of big screen star power!
According to Entertainment Weekly, Jim Carrey will guest star as someone interviewing for the position left vacant by Michael Scott (Steve Carell).
The actor will join “The Office” series creator Ricky Gervais, former “Everybody Loves Raymond” star Ray Romano, “Boston Legal” star James Spader and occasional “30 Rock” guest star Will Arnett, who are also previously-announced guest stars in the episode.
A rep for NBC was not immediately available for comment on Carrey’s cameo when contacted by Access on Friday.
Catch Steve Carell’s final episode of “The Office” when it airs on April 28, and the Season 7 finale on May 19.
