It’s one thing for Iran to hate Americans . . . that’s just par for the course over there.  But now Iran has gone too far.  It turns out they also hate MAN’S BEST FRIEND.

Iranian lawmakers have proposed a new bill that would make it ILLEGAL to own a pet dog.  They say that dogs are a health hazard, and that owning one is, quote, “a blind imitation of the vulgar culture of the West.”

If the bill passes, anyone who’s caught with a dog will be fined . . . possibly even thrown in prison . . . and their dog will be immediately TAKEN AWAY from them and probably put to sleep.
