As if the new [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Aerosmith[/lastfm] album didn’t already have enough drama surrounding it, Liv Tyler may have let her father’s solo plans slip, while another member plans to branch out to reality TV.
Liv recently guested on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” and may have accidentally spilled the beans on an upcoming solo project for her father when she said:
“We were driving through the hills in his fancy sports car with the top down…He was blasting me his new single; it’s amazing and beautiful.”
This is not the first solo single Tyler has released; he announced solo single “Love Lives” back in September. But another new single? We may have a full solo album on our hands.
In other Aerosmith news, guitarist Brad Whitford recently revealed that he will appear in an upcoming episode of A&E’s “Storage Wars,” where people compete in auctions for abandoned storage containers to sell off its contents.
Bassist Tom Hamilton spoke last week to the Boston Herald, saying that he “looks forward” to Tyler demonstrating that the band is #1 to him, which he keeps insisting to his band mates.
If Tyler is indeed making a full-length solo album, then perhaps his heart isn’t completely with Aerosmith. He definitely put a lot of heart and soul into his latest live performance, a duet with former “American Idol” champion Carrie Underwood at the Country Music Awards.
