Disasters are spontaneous & unpredictable, but whenever they happen, Red Cross is there. Now there is a charity model to match- Roll In For Japan is a pop up charity event- spontaneous and unpredictable, planned in just 10 days by Valley restaurants as a response to the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear reactor meltdown in Japan. There are pop up restaurants, pop up retail and pop up design shops, why not a pop up charity event?
In just 10 days, amazing local restaurants like Hana Japanese Eatery, Barrio Café, Liberty Market and Citizen Public House have stepped forward as well Madison Event Center, Kool Party Rentals and Yelp to partner on this event.
The Grand Canyon Chapter of the Red Cross will be handling all monies the evening of the event, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Red Cross Disaster Fund. This is an entirely volunteer run event, open to all ages of the public. Expect taiko drumming, DJ’s, phenomenal food, raffles, door prizes, chair massages and amazing community.
