Former [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rolling Stones[/lastfm] guitarist Mick Taylor is taking a cue from Keith Richards as he prepares to pen a tell-all book of his own about the Stones.
Taylor talked to BANG Showbiz about the upcoming memoir, which he said would be much more restrained than Keith Richards’ book, which detailed many stories of drugs and drunken debauchery during the Stones’ heyday, as well as some candid comments about his band mates.
“I don’t want to write the kind of book that will shock people, about the scandals, sex, drugs and rock and roll because Keith’s done that with his book,” said Taylor. “It’s a hard book to write. My time will come but it’s not yet.”
The book will be indicative of what Taylor calls “mixed feelings” about his time in the band. So based on his description, this book should be far less entertaining than Keith’s!
