Fulton Homes Be KOOL Stay In School
Congratulations to Ashley Riddle of Surprise. She was nominated by her Mom and she is today’s Fulton Homes Be KOOL Stay in School winner.
I would like to nominate my 13 year old daughter Ashley. Ashley came to us only a short 9 years ago through Foster Care. She arrived at our door not knowing what a stove was and had been sleeping between two chairs pushed together in the kitchen. She is an amazing girl. Within a short time had caught up to her classmates and now is an A student. Her teachers at Western Peaks Elementary in Surprise tell me there is nothing they would change about her. She is a member of jr achievement, church choir, cheer, participates in church plays and volunteers whenever there is an opportunity. She just recently passed out food baskets and sang Christmas Carols for the elderly of our church.
At home she is the oldest of 5 adopted children and 2 foster children. She is my right hand girl! If I need help with the babies she is happy to help out and steps up. When I think of where this girl has come from to where she is now I can not believe her progress. Currently her goal is to go to college and become a vet. I see a bright future for my daughter and believe she is deserving of this nomination.
