The 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards. It’s the biggest show on television, with 200 or 300 performers, 23 great performances, and a run time of over 3 ½ hours. Walk into a dressing room backstage at the Staples Center and you’ll find the most unlikely combination of people. [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Pink[/lastfm] right next to [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Beyonce[/lastfm]. There’s [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Mick Jagger [/lastfm]using Kobe Bryant’s locker. [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Justin Bieber[/lastfm] zipping up [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Katy Perry’s [/lastfm]dress. OMG, is that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Barbra Streisand [/lastfm]and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Eminem[/lastfm] in the Lakers’ shower?

Ken Ehrlich is the GRAMMY Awards Executive Producer and creator of the “Grammy Moment,” a group of performances over the years that have ranged from remarkable duets between artists (think Prince and Beyonce, Eminem and Elton John, Barbra Streisand and Neil Diamond) and several incredible solo performances (think Aretha Franklin). Ken explains the mystery of the backstage pandemonium and how orchestrating the rundown can be tricky.

Everything GRAMMYs

Don’t forget to watch the Grammys on February 13 at 8pm on CBS.
