The phrase “no room in the inn” certainly has strong ties to this time of year and Amber was facing a grim situation at another local animal shelter that didn’t have room for even the most gorgeous Australian Cattle Dog. That’s when the Arizona Humane Society stepped in and offered Amber a second chance to become someone’s faithful friend.
This fun-loving 1-year-old loves to run, fetch, hurdle and all the other thinks that put the “up” in puppy. She has more than enough energy to spare and she is looking forward to finding an active companion who will take her on long-winded runs, fast paced power walks and conquer mountains on a good hike. She loves just about everything as long as it somehow involves running and with the added bonus of her being exceptionally smart she would be an excellent agility candidate. After watching her ricochet about the yard many find it hard to believe that she has mastered the “sit” command. After a long day of fun her owner will find her sprawled out on the couch or on her dog bed taking a long power nap with all four paws in the air.
She is good with dogs and older kids but a family meet and greet is required. Her journey thus far has been a long and difficult one and she is looking forward to better days in her new forever home.
She is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Sunnyslope facility located at 9226 North 13th Ave in Phoenix.
Her adoption fee is $110. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash with an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam.
