Einstein

Meet Einstein, KOOL FM Dog of the Week…

This week KOOL is looking for a home for Eisnstein.  He  is a (Louisiana Leopard Cur Dog) Catahoula mix. Catahoulas were bred to hunt – bear, boars, deer, elk and many other animals so they have a lot of energy and stamina and they are highly intelligent and protective by nature.

Einstein needs a person that can work with him and offer him, outlets for his energy and intelligence. He pulls on the leash and becomes easily distracted by anything that moves and will need a person that is consistent in training without using heavy handed punishment.  He will require some obedience classes, and someone who can provide consistent leadership skills. He would likely do best with high school age and above, and a family that is active in a way that he can go with them.  He does well with other dogs his size and of mellow temperament, better with the opposite sex.

Einstein is one of the many dogs that the AAWL volunteers get to interact with by walking, playing in yards and sometimes just sitting and cuddling on a chair.  Volunteering at AAWL is such a wonderful way to get yourself out of the house and give back to your community. Volunteers at AAWL have so many opportunities to work with dogs and cats whether it be at the shelter, offsite at special events or in your own home as a foster parent.
Look at www.AAWL.org and click on VOLUNTEER to find out more and then come on down and visit with Einstein.

You can get more information on Einstein by visiting the Arizona Animal Welfare League at www.aawl.org.

PLEASE give Einstein his KOOL forever home. He’s waiting for YOU. Adopt him from the Arizona Animal Welfare League.
