The Demise Of Indiana Jones?

harrison ford as indiana jones The Demise Of Indiana Jones?

When Sylvester Stallone got older, I found it difficult to watch Rocky Balboa in the ring.  Even Danny Glover said from the first “Lethal Weapon” forward, “I’m gettin’ too old for this ****!”  But, for some reason, I’m perfectly content with Harrison Ford continuing his role as Indiana Jones.  However, it seems he’s NOT.

Is there a possibility that Harrison Ford wants Indiana Jones killed off? That’s what Showbiz Spy is reporting. According to the site, Ford has told creator George Lucas and director Steven Spielberg that Jones should sing his swan song in the fifth installment of the adventure film series.

“Harrison thinks it would be good for Indy to die and pass on his hat to his son in the next one,” an insider reportedly told the website. “George especially is resisting the notion but Steven is considering it. Funnily enough, Harrison wanted the same for Han Solo in the final ‘Star Wars’ but George put an end to it. This time he doesn’t have all the say though.”

Don’t Kill of “Indy” just have him retire to the college academic life, after all he is the assistant dean! He can still do the basic research on items through books and articles, and stories similar to what his father did with “Holy Grail”. He can become “Mutt’s” Marcus, (but with commonsense, and real world knowledge.) Live with out the thrill of travel, and danger would be basically, the same as killing him off, but without actual killing him. Indy doesn’t deserve to die.

    1. Amen! Agreed 100%, Katt. Thanks for the well-written post🙂
