My name is Charger and I am a very smart and lovable guy with a sad story. I was adopted from the AAWL & SPCA this past winter by a wonderful volunteer who recently died of a heart attack at a young age, which is why I’m back at the shelter now.
I’m an awesome guy that loves everyone, including kids, other dogs, and even cats (however, I seem to be allergic to cats, so I would do best in a cat-free home). I am housebroken and travel well in a car. I know how “sit”, “down” and “shake.” I can do more and would love for you to teach me. One thing you should know about me is that I love to be petted! I adore attention from others, especially when they scratch my belly. I would love to have a home where I can curl up to my new family members. If you would like to know more about me then come on down and meet me today.
Charger is one of the many pets that pass through AAWL every year. For those dogs and cats that are here during camp time, they get to interact with the campers at AAWL’s Camp Ruffin’ It and Vet Camp. This winter AAWL is offering camps during winter break. Each day will be something different with themes like “CSI-Pet Detective” and Animal Training Academy”. Children can be enrolled in a single day or all for days. For those children enrolled for all four days, we are offering a “free Half-Day” on Dec 31st with a theme of “Happy Noon-Year’s Eve!”
