Sit ON STAGE, in the bull-ring arena with the Arizona Opera’s production of CARMEN.
You and Maria Knight will be sitting in the Toreadors Bullring, which a huge piece of scenery with 7 rows of bleachers. You will be surrounded by the chorus, and can wave and shout and be part of the scene. Basically you will be acting as 19th century peasants from Seville Spain.
All The Carmen bullring winners will come backstage at Symphony hall, receive a backstage tour, be outfitted with some red Spanish flair from the costume shop, some directions from the choreographer and then be seated on stage for ACT I and ACT II of Carmen. At intermission,you will have a commemorative photo taken with Carmen, the toreador and then a sangria toast in the green room
After intermission you will be seated in the theater to watch ACT III and IV and see Carmen get what she deserves!!!
You will need to come to Symphony Hall at 6:30 pm, Friday Nov 19th, dressed entirely in black, no sequins or shiny fabrics and be ready to have fun!
