This Was Quite An Honor
Last Saturday, at Sanderson Ford, I asked if I could take a picture with some of our Arizona Buffalo Soldiers.
It was truly an honor and a thrill for me.
Here is some information about the Buffalo Soldiers.
And speaking of our Arizona Buffalo Soldiers, they will be a big part in the conclusion of Sanderson Ford’s 13 days of tribute to our troops, tomorrow morning.
If you are going, you probably want to get there by 8:45. Here is the schedule for tomorrow:
Closing Ceremonies Sanderson Ford
*9am Colors By Horseback - Arizona Buffalo Soldiers
*Gold Star Families to read the names of Arizona’s fallen on the war on terrorism
*2pm Post 137 Flag Disposal
*Jim Edgeman-Founder Veterans Memorial Highway (I-17) To speak “Patriotism”
