Things were going SO well for Kurt Warner on Dancing With The Stars! Just last week, judges said he had the “spirit of Gene Kelly!” Yet, THIS week, they used the term “awkward.” Voting has already closed for tonight’s episode. So, now we just sit back and wait!

“The thing that’s hard is when they make criticism like, ‘It just didn’t work,’ because we don’t really know what that means!” said the NFL star, who is currently in his first year of retirement.
The judges awarded the QB and partner Anna Trebunskaya 22 out of 30 points and labeled their performance “awkward.”
“It feels like this has happened a couple times now — we come out and we perform what we thought was a good dance and then get scores that aren’t so good,” Warner told usmagazine.com after the show, where he and partner Anna Trebunskaya danced the Paso Doble to “The Final Countdown” as part of the show’s “Rock Week.”
Trebunskaya pointed out that Warner wasn’t the only one who took issue with their low scores.
“The audience went nuts and were booing the judges after they gave us our score,” she told the celebrity website after the performance. “That’s all I have to say!”
Warner, for his part, is keeping a positive outlook before the results show Tuesday night.
“U guys r awesome, great hanging, going 2 try & sleep,” he tweeted Monday. “So glad my life is in God’s hands & i don’t have to worry about it… talk tom!”
Warner isn’t the first “Dancing” contestant to level complaints against the judges’ critiques this season. Michael Bolton and Mike (The Situation) Sorrentino previously took issue with the panel.
Both have since been eliminated.
“Dancing with the Stars'” results show airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. on ABC.
