I missed much of the 2010 MLB All-Star Game last night, since I generally am not home from work until 8pm or so. But, I was home by the 7th inning – to see the important part. That’s when the NL took a 3-1 lead. I mentioned in yesterday’s blog that I am not a Yankees fan. What I didn’t mention was that I am a huge Phillies fan. I also root for the D-Backs (unless they’re playing the Phils). I lived in Chicago for 5 years and caught as many Cubbies games at Wrigley as possible. I am a National League fan – no question!
So, the NL wins after 13 years of defeat to the dreaded AL. Fantastic! Although, it really means nothing…except home field advantage at the World Series. And, since my Phils have gone the last 2 years…this could be good!
Next year, the All-Star Game will be here at Chase Field. I’ve never been to an All-Star Game. I would LOVE to go! Does anyone know when tickets go on-sale? It will be neat to see the park filled up for a change…
