Grease was certainly one of the milestone musicals to hit theatres – back in the 70′s.  It has come back in various incarnations over the years…in various venues.  And, undoubtedly, fans sang along with it each time.  But, never has it been brought back with the sole purpose of having fans “sing-a-long” – UNTIL NOW.  Have YOU seen this trailer???

You’ll notice Phoenix is not listed.  If you feel strongly about this coming to the Valley, make your opinion known on their website.

While we’re at it, I have an observation.  Did you catch the scene in that trailer where they said “The chicks’ll SCREAM for Greased Lightning?”  Now, I’m no Grease officianado.  But, I KNOW John Travolta doesn’t sing “scream” in that song.  It seems they’ve done some creative re-lyricing for the sing-a-long.  I know of a few other questionable lines in the movie.  Were they changed, too?

If you wanna be “family-friendly,” maybe you should pick a more family-friendly movie!  Just my $0.02.
