Merlin Olsen was a gentle giant of a man, but did you know anything about him other than his football and film career?  Let me tell you a little about this remarkable man. Merlin Olsen died yesterday after a battle with cancer.  His pro football career with the L.A. Rams is impressive culminating with his induction into the Pro football Hall of Fame in 1982.  His recurring roles in  Little House On The Prairie and Father Murphy brought him a whole new group of admirers.  And one of his proudest moments was…..well,  let me show you a very human side of this extraordinary man.
